*Things I need to know when I start with yoga*
Introductory Level 1

8-week Introductory Course suitable for those with no experience of Yoga or if you are coming back to your practice after a break. Based on Sarva Hitta Asanas - postures that are good for everyone - this course covers all the foundations needed for ongoing yoga practice: full yoga breath, stretching, flexibility and mobility exercises, relaxation, pranayama, and introduction to meditation.
Monday 7:00-8:15 pm & Wednesday 5:00-6:15 pm
These classes are for anyone who has done yoga before and is ready for more advanced yoga postures, with deeper inner focus and concentration. Learn new postures that awaken energy and develop your body's vital strength and flexibility further. These classes are for those looking for more understanding and self-awareness through Yoga. The techniques and postures in Levels 2-3 are both energizing and dynamic.

Continue to progress through the Yoga in Daily Life levels and deepen your Yoga practice with greater awareness and concentration. Learn progressively more advanced asanas including inverted postures, as well as pranayama, relaxation, and meditation. You should have practiced at least 3 months of each previous level before moving into each new level, after consultation with your yoga teacher.

Strengthen your inner calm through the ancient art of meditation. This class provides deep relaxation, gentle stretching, calming breath techniques (pranayama), and guided meditation based on Self inquiry meditation from the YIDL System. No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome and also chairs are available.

A gentle yoga practice with adaptive movements and postures practiced on the mat or in the alternate sitting position. These exercises are beneficial for flexibility, balance, and strength while being easy on the body and promoting overall physical and mental health. All are welcome regardless of age or physical ability.

Open to everyone, including those new to yoga. Learn therapeutic yoga movements that focus on the back and the parts of the body that affect the back and spine. Includes breathing and relaxation techniques to help control stress and tension.

Satsang is a Sanskrit word which means to be with Truth, to be at the place where Truth is discussed and taught. This is a program of devotional songs (bhajans), meditation, a spiritual video with lectures from the founder of Yoga in Daily Life (Swamiji), and prayer. Everybody is heartily welcome.
