There are some special hours which are particularly favorable for practicing yoga and for meditating.

‘Prana’ (life energy) + ‘Ayam’ (to control, to regulate). We receive the prana mostly through our breath, but also through food, company and movement.
Yama - Self-Control (1st step of the Raja Yoga) consists of five principles: Ahimsa - Non-Violence, Satya - Truthfulness, Asteya - Non-Stealing, Brahmacharya - Pure Way of Life and Aparigraha - Non-Accumulation of Possessions.
